Thoughts from a 10-year-old | Why I Like Homeschooling
I'm sharing Joy in the Ordinary with my ten-year-old daughter. She's telling the world her ten favorite things about homeschooling.
The Car and Our Homeschool
You should know that field trips is one of my favorite parts of homeschooling. The entire month of September was without field trips which in the beginning of our carless month made the girls a bit sad (and me too) since we actually had a few fun outings planned such as the tie dye and ice cream social.
Visiting the Wally Show at WAY-FM
On mornings when we are out and about early, we usually listen to The Wally Show on WAY-FM. It is an faith based broadcast that offers practical advice from people who are willing and transparent about their own struggles in life. The girls and I often learn new things by listening to their stories, and we often have a good laugh because the broadcasters can be hilarious.
Hatch Show Print Tour in Nashville
Did you know that there is a print shop that does not utilize any technology? When I say no technology, I mean absolutely no technology. They do not even allow potential customers to contact them via email. All work is done through verbal interaction. All proofs are created by hand.
