Math is a touchy subject in our home even though one daughter would say it’s her favorite subject, and the other daughter is really good at even though she wouldn’t say it’s her favorite. For our oldest daughter, we figured we would give Math-U-See by Demme Learning a try when it was offered to be reviewed. She is our daughter who enjoys math even though not all components of it come easy to her.

It wasn’t until I was an adult did I fully understand the meaning of Easter. As a child, I felt so lost when it came to religious holidays. I remember the traditions, but the meaning was lost on me. As the girls continued to get older, my desire to know more about the faith in which I followed grew more and more and it continues to grow. When we studied John in 2011, it was like my eyes were opened and everything had new meaning.
Here to Help Learning Writing Curriculum Review
Formal writing waxes and wanes in our learning environment. The girls do well to write in their journals a few times per week, but writing for a specific purpose and with structure didn’t make it to our schedule during the fall semester. Here to Help Learning was just the writing curriculum we needed to get back into the habit of structured writing assignments. Here to Help Learning is an online writing curriculum which focuses on paragraph and essay writing. We used Flight 1 Paragraph Writing and Flight 2 Essay Writing

My spiritual journey has taken me down some new roads while also reminding me of things I once knew. One area in which my heart and mind has been open to are the feasts of the Old Testament. Prior to this fall, I had no knowledge of these feasts. I had no idea when the took place during our present time. When they came into my was actually the day of the Feast of Trumpets. I found this miraculous because this day also represents a new year, and I knew that my family and I were beginning to step into something new.
