{GIVEAWAY & REVIEW} Start the New Year with a GrapeVine Studies Calendar

My spiritual journey has taken me down some new roads while also reminding me of things I once knew.  One area in which my heart and mind has been open to are the feasts of the Old Testament.  Prior to this fall, I had no knowledge of these feasts.  I had no idea when the took place during our present time.  When they came into my was actually the day of the Feast of Trumpets.  I found this miraculous because this day also represents a new year, and I knew that my family and I were beginning to step into something new.

Since this year was our first year attempting to observe the Old Testament feast days, it wasn't smooth or calculated.  We were learning as we observed them.  As the feasts ended, I knew that I wanted to be prepared when they came around next year.  I prayed about our preparation in the upcoming year.  One way He has answered this prayer is with the GrapeVine Studies Calendar

.  Dianna, the creator of the calendar, has taken the time to place biblical events in the calendar along with providing calendar notes to help the user understand the meaning of the dates.

About the GrapeVine Studies Calendar :

The 12 month calendar includes the biblical month and the Jewish year. The Holy days and traditions are assigned to the dates on the traditional calendar.  The calendar is standard size.  The two page spread of the calendar includes the well-known GrapeVine stick figure images accompanied with Scripture on the top page while the month is on the bottom page.  Each month is given a different color.

Each year we keep a calendar visible in our learning environment, and I am excited to have this calendar to be the one on display.  The vibrant colors and Scripture for the month are an added bonus to the valuable information that is the basis of this calendar.

I found the information provided about the measuring of time in the Bible helpful.  When I read the OldTestament, I do not always know when the event is happening therefore I tend to miss the meaning behind some of the actions or His reasons for doing things in such a way.  Not only is the calendar great for the girls, but it really is a great resource for our entire family.

About the GrapeVine Calendar Notes :

The notes help provide understanding to the events which happened during biblical times.  Dianna shares the history of the calendar in these well-thought out notes.  If there is a date listed on the calendar then there are notes to go along with it.  Many of the notes are also share the Scripture the correlates with the date.

If you are interested in teaching your family about the events and traditions of the Bible, then this calendar is a must have.  I am glad that we will be able to prepare well in advance for the feasts this upcoming year.
