Reflections :: My Top Five of 2015

2015 has treated my family and I well.  I can't say that everything was perfect, but I can say I appreciated the good along with the not so great.  Any time when growth is noticeable, I can't help but to rejoice.

1. Moving was the highlight of our year.  We are now 9 months in, and are grateful for this experience.  Moving has had a positive impact on all of us.  A change of scenery can do quite a bit for the soul.  One of the great perks from our move is our new church.  It truly has been an answer to prayer.

2.  Experiencing our first homeschool conference together was pretty awesome.  This was our 5th year officially homeschooling, and we had yet to attend a homeschool conference together.  Honestly, I never thought we would, but I am extremely grateful that we did.

3.  My love of homeschooling has been reignited.  I enjoy homeschooling, but there was a space of time where I felt like I was in LaLaland.  I am so thankful to be out of that funk.  I would say being distracted contributed to me being in that stuck place.

4.  Growing my business

made a huge impact on my family and me this year.  I finally made to a place where I quit fighting myself and the Creator.  This change had such an amazing impact on my business that if I hadn't experienced it for myself, I wouldn't be able to imagine it.

5.  As you probably have noticed, I wrote quite a few reviews about homeschooling curriculum through

Schoolhouse Review Crew

.  This was my first year, and I truly enjoyed it.  The girls were able to experience new curriculum and for the most part they enjoyed all that we reviewed.  Reviewing for the Crew opened up new doors for me. I am looking forward to what next year will bring to A Little This ... A Little That.
