Three on Thursday : A Slow Week

I appreciate the slowness of our days this week.  We've been able to hone in while relaxing.  We've been able to be without the hustle and bustle.  This is surely a blessing.

  • I love these pictures from last week.
The oldest didn't want one, but later decided that maybe she would like to ride.

After our tour of Aquarium Restaurant, the youngest wanted to drive an animal.  I obliged.  I guess, I was shooting for the Nicest Mommy Award.  I was feeling so nice I even got themcupcakes from GiGi's Cupcakes.  I think they were feeling blissful.

  • The downtime doesn't allow me to totally be idle.  I am preparing for my upcoming trunk show which will be next weekend.  I think this is my favorite part of being a jewelry artist.  I love being able to chat with others who believe or who are searching.  This is where faith and art meet for me.
  • We received more curriculum to review.  The oldest is reviewing Math U See Zeta.  This is a good change for her because she is one who needs to see math, but is a tad bit stubborn.  She would much rather the knowledge already be there without the extra steps.  So far, she is being willing to do things differently. For this, I am thankful.

How is your week so far?  Do you have any highlights to share?
